India, France discuss disarmament, non-proliferation and security of outer space
Discussions between the two sides also covered conventional weapons and export controls
India and France discussed developments relating to nuclear non-proliferation, disarmament, security of outer space and export controls during talks held on Thursday.
The discussions took place at a meeting of the India-France bilateral dialogue on disarmament and non-proliferation in Paris.
The two sides discussed developments on the disarmament and non-proliferation agenda relating to nuclear, chemical, and biological domains, said the Ministry of External Affairs.
The discussions also covered outer space security, conventional weapons and export controls.
The Indian delegation was led by the Joint Secretary, Disarmament and International Security Affairs, Ministry of External Affairs. The French side was led by the Head of Strategic, Security and Disarmament Affairs, Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs of France.
