The bilateral relations between the two countries have significantly strengthened in the last few years in all areas of cooperation. This visit underscores the importance given by both sides in adding further momentum to the bilateral partnership
The two nations' bilateral ties have significantly improved, as has their collaboration in many areas, over the past several years.
This visit is evidence of how both sides are committed to strengthening their bilateral relationship.
With a long history that is firmly entrenched in shared territory, culture, and interpersonal ties, India and Nepal have established long-lasting bilateral relations.
The two countries have enjoyed close ties and collaboration across various domains, including political, economic, cultural, and social spheres.
Geographically, Nepal and India have an open border that allows for simple travel and trade between the two countries. This has made it easier for cross-border engagements, cultural exchanges, and economic collaboration, strengthening friendship and understanding ties.
Frequent high-level visits by the leaders of the two countries at different points of time and the interactions constitute the hallmark of the ties between the two countries.
Furthermore, such visits have helped promote goodwill, trust, understanding and cooperation between the two countries and have injected fresh momentum to further consolidate age-old and multi-faceted bilateral relations of friendship and cooperation on a more mature and pragmatic footing.
