Continuing with the nationwide vaccination drive, 39.96 crore vaccine doses have been administered across the country.

Since the new phase of universalization of Covid-19 vaccination commenced on June 21, availability of vaccine has been ramped up, resulting in states and Union Territories utilizing the supply of Covid-19 vaccines to jab as many people as they could.

“The Union Government is committed to accelerating the pace and expanding the scope of COVID-19 vaccination throughout the country,” the Health Ministry said.

On the other hand, the recovery rate has increased to 97.31 percent; in the last 24 hours 43, 916 patients have recovered. Currently total recoveries stand at 3,02,27,792.

Meanwhile, India has reported 38,079 new cases in the last 24 hours.

“This is a result of sustained and collaborative efforts by the Centre and the States/UTs,” the Health Ministry said.

India’s Active Caseload today stands at 4,24,025 and active cases now constitute 1.36% of the country's total Positive Cases.

Weekly Positivity Rate has remained below 5%, currently at 2.10%, while daily positivity rate at 1.91%, less than 3% for 26 consecutive days.
